Diploma Engg:
10th with 35% marks (33% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category or Kashmiri Migrants Category). Compulsory pass in Maths & Science subjects.
Diploma (Engg.) Lateral Entry:
10+2/ ITI (02 years)
REGISTRATION :
In order to get admission into any polytechnic programme, candidates are required to fill out and submit the application form (JEEUP portal)released by BTEUP within the specified dates. While filling out the application form, candidates have to provide some basic details such as personal details, academic details, & contact details and upload required documents such as photographs and signatures. During the application process, candidates will also be required to make a payment of the application fee. It should be noted that the application form will be different for each polytechnic course.
ISSUE OF ADMIT CARD:
The authorities will release the admit card for all the candidates who will register within the specified dates. The admit card will contain all the details regarding the polytechnic exam day such as the candidate’s name, exam date, exam time, allotted exam centre, and exam day instructions.
ENTRANCE EXAM:
The concerned authorities conduct their respective entrance exams for polytechnic courses after 10th/12th as per the schedule.
RESULT DECLARATION:
After the examination, the authorities declare the result of the entrance exam. Only those candidates who will qualify the entrance exam will be eligible for admission.
JEECUP COUNSELLING PROCEDURE:
On the basis of the candidate’s marks obtained in the entrance exam, the seats will be allotted followed by the counselling procedure on the basis of their merit, choices filled by them and reservation criteria. The given below procedure has to be followed by the candidates through online mode:
JEECUP Counselling
1. Online counselling will be conducted in four rounds.
2. Candidates will have to do registration with the JEECUP roll number and password.
3. Candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/- as a counselling fee through SBI MOPS (credit card/debit card/net banking/ Challan, etc.).
4. After successful submission of the fee candidates will be allowed to fill in the choices.
5. The colleges and courses will be appeared as per the candidate’s category which they can fill and lock their choices in order of their preference.
6. There will be no limit to filing choices for the candidates.
7. Candidates will be able to download their seat allotment results by entering the roll number and date of birth.
8. If candidates will be allotted the college, they will have to submit Rs. 3000/- for a seat acceptance fee on given dates.
9. Candidates will have to report the reporting centres for document verification.
10. After document verification candidates can go for admission in the allotted institution.

COUNSELLING INFORMATION :
JEECUP 2020 Counselling will be conducted in the month of June -July . It will be conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh. The admission will be offered for the courses such as Diploma/ Post Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Technology and Management programmes. Candidates will get admission in polytechnic colleges affiliated to the Board of Technical Education through its counselling procedure. JEECUP is also known as UPJEE-Polytechnic which is a state level entrance exam. In this article candidates can complete details of JEECUP 2020 Counselling along with some other necessary details.
